The Betterment Network Mission

The mission of THE BETTERMENT NETWORK is to connect and support members on their journey to a better life.

The mission statement above reflects the goals of The Betterment Network. When I was first enlightened to the Law of Attraction in The Secret by Rhonda Byrne, I was so excited- I tried to share with family and friends. But no one I knew personally was interested in my profound discovery.

What I wanted was a network of friends that I could lean on and offer support to in attaining a life full of positive energy, gratitude and being connected to source. The Betterment Network was created so like minded people could get together to support one another in our journey.

This blog is the foundation of The Betterment Network but we also have a greater presence on Facebook and Twitter. We truly value comments, feedback, suggestions and ideas. Please join The Betterment Network and let us know how we can support you on a journey to an amazing life. You can also email me at bettermentnetwork@gmail.com

How Do Children Do It

Are you an actor? Do you like to play pretend? These are actually good ways to manifest what you want! Who says using your imagination is for children only?

As children, we are happy human beings. We have the necessities of life provided for us but in our minds - we can be anyone we want or do anything we desire. We are fearless in our dreams and unexposed to the realities that dampened the human spirit. As we grow - we face realities and are told to 'GROW UP'  - meaning stop dreaming, stop being fearless - stop using your imagination!

The little girl who dreamed of being a rock star is urged to become a teacher - a more realistic choice for a woman. And so her dream dies. Her faith wavers. The law of attraction stops working.

The little boy who wants to become a doctor is told it is too expensive and his family can't afford it. He should strive to get a good job at the factory his Dad works at so as to make a decent living to feed his family. And so his dream dies. His faith wavers. The law of attraction stops working.

But what if we continued to dream. To have faith. Guess what? The Law of Attraction still works. Playing make believe still works. Dreams can be manifested from just pretending. Where there is a will, there is a way. Never stop believing in your dreams. Play the part of the life you want. If you want to be rich, do things rich people would do. Dress in your best clothing, hang around rich people. PRETEND you are rich.

We can learn a lot from watching younger children, how their imagination works, how they view the world and their faith that all things are possible.
