The old adage that it's better to give than receive must have been weighing heavily upon me last night because I was awaken this morning in the middle of a debate in my dream about whether it is better to give locally or give globally. I'm not sure why I was debating this in my dreams. I find it kind of amusing.
Ironically, it's better to give than receive but, according to the law of attraction, you must give in order to receive. While I love donating to charity's that I can use as a tax write off, I am more apt to donate to the local family that was burned out of their home or the young family with a sick child that is in dire need of money to help with medical expenses. I love to scan the gofundme pages for worthy recipients. So I guess for me, I prefer giving locally.
