Wealthy or Broke? Rich or Poor?

Is this a dream or a nightmare?

Isn't it amazing how many times you hear of people winning a lottery or gaining a windfall and a year or two later they are just as broke as before coming into money? It happens all the time. I know a woman who won a disability lawsuit and recieved $40,000.00. Her father tried to convince her to use it for a down payment on a house in the suburbs - to get out of the city slum rental she was in. Instead, she bought all kinds of toys and gadgets and gifts - and still rents slum apartments in the city. One year later, she is selling all said toys and gadgets to pay day to day expenses. You would never know that this person received such a large sum of money that could have been used to better her life. 

So why is that? How can someone be given such a large sum of money and yet blow through it and end up with nothing? It must be the law of attraction. You're so use to  having nothing, so use to being poor and wanting money that when you finally get it - you subconciously flitter it all way to get back to that natural state of being poor and wanting money! 

It's one thing to hope you win a lottery jackpot, but it is quite another to be prepared for when you actually win it!  You will most likely never win the lottery and you may or may not come into some money someday, but you can always start thinking and feeling like a rich person. Have a plan in place and stick with it. IF you come into more money than you ever imagined possible - hire a professional to help you budget and invest wisely. That is what rich people would do. Start now - plan for your wealth, no matter how broke you might be. Set up a budget now and stick with it. Get off social media and shut off the tv, and start reading. Wealthy people read. Find rich people to hang out with. Volunteer.

The #1 thing you can do to be a wealthy person is believe you are a wealthy person - otherwise, when the wealth arrives, if you're still in a poor, needing money mind set, that wealth won't last long and you'll soon find yourself broke once again. Think of yourself as Wealthy and Rich. The Universe will make it happen.
